The goal of the initial approach was to look at the current pages and understand what blocks of modules we might need in order to re-build a website using the CMS partnering with Optimizely.

O first started mocking up the pages with loose wireframes to identify the types of blocks that the client most likely needed.

Building
blocks of modules
The senior designer and I then built all the blocks of modules so that it was going to be easier to use them to re-build the pages with updated content provided by the client. We identified about 15 blocks per screen size: from heros to quote blocks, from an interactive map block to a 50/50 block and so on.

An extra challenge on course
During the last phase of the project e client decided to re-brand while we were working on the website. We received the guidelines provided by the branding agency and made sure that all the colours and fonts were accessible. We were worried the project wasn't going to be completed on time as this was not part of the original scope.

We swiftly provided design updates by changing fonts, colours and making sure it was looking sleek, modern, fresh and on brand and presented the work to the client.
They were very impressed by the work and didn't expect it to be done so swiftly.

We successfully launched the new website on the 5th June 2025 and we cannot be prouder of the work done.
